About Trevor

Trevor Agnew

In addition to the Home page, here is a little more info and some testimonials to convince you I know what I’m talking about.

When I stopped Co-driving professionally in 2005, I started a Masters in Coaching & Development. At the same time, I expanded my coaching into other businesses beyond motorsport. Since then, I have mostly worked with automotive manufacturers in the UK and internationally. I help improve the performance of their dealer staff, right up to Dealer Principal level. I am passionate about the benefits of Performance Coaching and have proved it works.

Over the years, a lot of people have asked me to share my coaching knowledge. At the start of February 2015, I gave some insights into performance coaching. That was while working as a stage-end reporter for World Rally Radio on Rally Sweden. That resulted in a lot of positive feedback, which led to this website.

Testimonials

Here are some thoughts from people I have helped: –

Martin Rowe – World Champion Rally Driver / Driver Coach.

“Trevor and I topped the World in 2003!

Trevor is one of the best Rally Co-Drivers and coaches in the World. His team spirit, professional, calm and precise delivery of pace notes, in a mentally and physically demanding role, while leading the Production World Rally Championship, gave me the confidence to focus on my job as a driver.

Trevor manages and understands the communication skills and mindset that are necessary to perform in any high-pressure situation both in and out of the car.”

Neil Wearden – 2000 British Rally Champion (Team)

“Trevor helped with my transition from being a competent rally driver to becoming a professional rally driver.

He gave me confidence not only in my ability in the car, but also out of it in dealing with team managers, press and engineers etc…

He was not only a fantastic co-driver, but also a great manager, coach and mentor.”

Molly Taylor – 2016 Australian Rally Champion

When people ask me what my most memorable or significant moments in motorsport are, one particular memory always arises. It is of Trevor and I having a conversation on the morning of the final round of the British Rally Championship in 2009.

The title for our championship came down to this day. It was a huge moment for me, my first season competing overseas and first time in this scenario. Together, Trevor and I made a game plan for the event.

Unfortunately the car had a mechanical issue, however we comfortably led the event right up until that moment.

That day was a game changer for me, challenging and improving the way I approached every rally and my career since then, thanks to Trevor.
